Bus Express: Passenger Puzzle is published under the trade name Bright Ruin Games by Javier Nogueras Moreno in Spain. Privacy and support enquiries can be sent to contactbrightruin@gmail.com.
The game is designed primarily for children aged 6 to 12 and can also be played by older users. It does not create player accounts, request a name or email address, provide social features, or allow players to exchange content.
Progress, settings, accessibility choices, virtual currency, ability inventory, local purchase-entitlement records and recovery checkpoints are stored on the player's device. This information is used only to operate the game and is removed when the user clears the app data or uninstalls the game, subject to device and Google Play backup behaviour.
An Internet connection is required to start and continue gameplay. The game sends a small unauthenticated HTTPS request to a Bright Ruin Games service. It does not send a player profile, advertising identifier, game progress or purchase data. The hosting and security providers necessarily receive limited transport data such as IP address, request time, requested path, browser or device network information and security events. These records are used only to deliver, secure and diagnose the service, are not used to profile children and are retained only for the shortest operational period configured by the providers.
The Android version uses Google Mobile Ads for optional rewarded ads and limited interstitial ads. Requests are configured as child-directed, non-personalised and suitable for a general audience. The app removes the Android advertising-ID permission and does not use the advertising ID. Google may nevertheless process limited information needed to deliver and protect ads, such as IP-derived approximate location, app interactions, diagnostics and device information. A purchase called No Ads disables in-game advertising.
Optional digital products are sold through Google Play Billing. Google Play processes the payment under Google's own terms. To validate and fulfil a purchase, the game verifies the receipt on the device and sends Bright Ruin Games the app package, product identifier, a random request identifier and the Google Play purchase token over HTTPS. The full receipt and Google transaction identifier are not sent to Bright Ruin Games. Purchase records may be retained as necessary to prevent duplicate delivery, restore the No Ads entitlement, handle refunds, prevent fraud and meet legal obligations.
If an adult enables reminders, the game schedules local notifications on the device; Bright Ruin Games does not send them from a remote marketing server. The game may use Google Play's in-app review interface. Google controls whether that interface is shown and handles any review submitted.
The game does not request precise location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, health information or access to files outside its own storage. It does not include chat, user-generated content, third-party analytics or cross-app behavioural advertising.
The game applies child-directed advertising settings to all players and does not ask a child to provide personal information. Purchases, external links and privacy controls are protected by an adult gate. If Bright Ruin Games learns that personal information from a child was received unexpectedly, it will be deleted when reasonably identifiable.
Local game data remains on the device until the user clears the app data or uninstalls the game. The connectivity endpoint does not create a Bright Ruin Games player profile or application-level request history; infrastructure security records are rotated under the hosting providers' shortest operational settings. Purchase-token hashes and fulfilment, entitlement, refund or fraud-prevention records are retained while needed to deliver the purchase, preserve a permanent entitlement, process refunds or chargebacks, and meet applicable accounting or legal obligations. Deletion-request correspondence is retained only as long as needed to complete and demonstrate the response.
Send an email to contactbrightruin@gmail.com with the subject BUS EXPRESS DATA DELETION, identify Bus Express: Passenger Puzzle and describe the server-side data you want deleted. If the request concerns a purchase, include only the Google Play order reference needed to locate it; never send a password, card details, full receipt or purchase token. Bright Ruin Games will respond within one month and may request only the minimum additional information needed to verify and locate the record. Reasonably identifiable server data will be deleted unless it must be retained for an active entitlement, refund, fraud prevention or legal obligation. Device-only progress cannot be located remotely and must be deleted through Android Settings > Apps > Bus Express > Storage > Clear data, or by uninstalling the game. Users or guardians may also request access, correction, restriction or objection where applicable, or contact the competent data-protection authority.
The game may use Google Play services, Google Play Billing, Google Mobile Ads and Google's consent tools. The Bright Ruin Games website and connectivity services use hosting, content-delivery and security infrastructure including Cloudflare and the site's hosting platform. Each provider processes information under its own privacy terms and applicable data-protection obligations.
This policy may be updated when the game, providers or legal requirements change. Material changes will be reflected on this page and, when appropriate, in the game or its store listing. Last updated: 14 August 2026.
